[ARCHIVED] Clemmons Fall Medicine Drop – October 12

Clemmons, North Carolina – On October 12, 2019, Village of Clemmons Stormwater Department in collaboration with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s office will provide an opportunity to dispose of unused or expired medicine.  Unused prescription medications in homes can create a safety concern due to being accidentally ingested, stolen, misused, or abused.

Medicines should never be flushed or poured down the drain.  This action will lead to polluted waterways impacting aquatic species, and contaminating our food and water supplies.

The Medicine Drop will be held on October 12, 2019 from 9:30a.m. until 12:30p.m. at Clemmons Public Works, 3800 Dillon Industrial Drive.

Only pills can be accepted. Liquids, needles, and inhalants will not be accepted. This is for households ONLY.

For more information, please call 336.766.9170.
