Mike is a lifelong resident of Forsyth County. He moved to Clemmons in 1992, with his wife and 3-year old son to raise a family in a safe and family-oriented community.
Mike has previously served the Village of Clemmons as Councilman, Mayor Pro Tem, Transportation Advisory Committee Member, and Storm Water Liaison for the Village Council. Civic service has included Clemmons West Homeowners Association, Clemmons West Recreation Association Board, Board member of West Forsyth High School Booster Club, American Legion Post 522 Baseball liaison, member of the Clemmons Civic Club, Friends of the Library, Clemmons Historical Society, and serving as Vice President of the Clemmons Food Pantry Board of Directors, where he continues to serve on the Board. Mike has coached youth basketball at the YMCA and baseball at Southwest Forsyth Little League. Public and volunteer service has always been at the forefront of his endeavors. He has continued to hear from our citizens and business owners of their concerns. He actively participates regularly at the monthly Chamber of Commerce meeting with local business owners and learning from the educational programs that the Chamber provides for our community businesses and leaders.
